Three local musical groups will be joining forces at 7:30pm on Saturday, December 15 to bring a concert of seasonal music to the Maltings Centre, Alton this Christmas.
Alton Concert Orchestra, last seen publicly at Alton Proms in the Park, under their conductor, David Budd, will be joining Alton Choral Society, conductor Richard Toll, and a ladies voice choir ‘Ancora’.

The music will be mainly seasonal, consisting of arrangements of popular Christmas music and carols sung by the choirs, and will be a whole community celebration of the Festive Season.

The keynote of the evening will be audience participation in singing the traditional carols.

Admission is free and no prior booking is necessary, but it is anticipated that good seats will go early for what is always a very popular concert. Light refreshments such as mulled wine and mince pies will be served during the interval and there will be a retiring collection in aid of Homestart and the Harvest Church Youth Group.

More information can be found at www.altonconcertorchestra.org.uk or call Barbara on 01962 773130.
