Liphook Methodist Church holds Christmas sale

By Post in Local People

LIPHOOK Methodist Church got into the festive spirit and held a Christmas sale.

The sale was held on Saturday and was in aid of the church roof fund.

Joint-organiser Hazel Simmons said: “We were quite busy and had about 80 people there.

“We had several stalls at the sale, as well as some of our own stalls.

“We also had lots of refreshments on sale to people.

“The Christmas sale raised £252 for the church roof fund, which was brilliant, and we are now doing the work on the church roof.

“I would like to say thank you to Liphook Logs, who donated logs to us which we sold in a silent auction.

“I would also like to thank my joint-organiser, Sue Calvert.”
