Busy Saturday of fixtures for East Hampshire's football teams

EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, Alresford Town will entertain Hamworthy United at Arlebury Park (3pm), while Horndean will travel to The Universal Stadium to face Sholing (3pm).

The Magpies will be looking to complete the double after winning 2-1 at Hamworthy in the reverse league fixture on October 29, and the Deans will also be looking to complete the double after winning 3-1 at home to Sholing on October 29.

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, eighth-placed Clanfield will host ninth-placed Liss Athletic at Peel Park in an East Hampshire derby (2pm), while third-placed Liphook United will travel to Locks Heath Recreation Ground to face fourth-placed Locks Heath (2pm).

Clanfield won 2-1 at Liss in the reverse league fixture on November 26, while Liphook drew 3-3 at home to Locks Heath on August 13.

In Division 1 of the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League, bottom side AFC Petersfield will travel to Station Road Recreation Ground to face sixth-placed Netley Central Sports (2pm).
