EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, fifth-placed Horndean will entertain 11th-placed Newport (IOW) at Five Heads Park (3pm).

Sixth-placed Alresford Town will travel to The Sports Ground to face eighth-placed Lymington Town (3pm).

The Deans drew 3-3 at Newport in the reverse league fixture on November 26, while the Magpies will be looking for revenge after losing 3-1 at home to Lymington on February 22.

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, sixth-placed Clanfield will entertain third-placed Liphook United at Peel Park in an East Hampshire derby (3pm).

Liphook will be looking to claim the bragging rights again and complete the double over Clanfield after winning the reverse league fixture 7-2 at The Recreation Ground on December 17.

In Division 1 of the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League, bottom side AFC Petersfield will host third-placed Upham at Love Lane (3pm).

AFC Petersfield will be looking for revenge after losing 2-0 at home to Upham earlier on this season on January 7.

Alresford Town will also be in action next Wednesday night (March 22) in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.

The Magpies will entertain Fareham Town at Arlebury Park (7.45pm).

The match was rearranged after the original fixture was postponed.
