Liphook United beat Clanfield to claim bragging rights

LIPHOOK United have moved up to second place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after winning 2-0 at Clanfield on Saturday afternoon in an East Hampshire derby.

The visitors took the lead at Peel Park through Victor Andrade’s goal on 38 minutes, and Marcus Bedford doubled Liphook’s advantage in the 87th minute.

The defeat leaves Clanfield in seventh place in the table.
