Police appeal for information after building site theft

POLICE are appealing for information after equipment was stolen from a building site in Petersfield.

The incident happened between Thursday, April 13, and Tuesday, April 18 on the site at the end of Larcombe Road.

Petersfield Police Community Support Officer Tobey Mason said: “Equipment up to the value of £7,000 was stolen including a Sat Nav, phones, two disc cutters, a rotating laser, pipe laser and a cutting jenny.

“If you have any information about this incident please call 101 and quote the following reference number 44170143673.

“Please ensure that your property is kept locked and secure at all times. If you are away from your property for a long period it is a good idea to get a neighbour to keep an eye on your property until your return.

“Please be vigilant at all times, calling police to report any suspicious activity, not just around your own property but anything suspicious in your residential area and community.”
