Police witness appeal after collision near Bordon leaves man with life threatening injuries

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with life threatening injuries following a road traffic collision at East Worldham near Bordon.

The incident on Green Street, the B3004, happened at about 3pm on Friday, July 21, and involved a Scania HGV lorry and a pedestrian.

A police spokesman said: "The pedestrian, a 35-year-old man, is being treated at Southampton General Hospital for life threatening injuries.

"The driver of the HGV, a 38-year-old man from Tamworth, has been arrested in connection with the incident.

“If you saw anything or have dashcam footage of the incident, please call police on 101, quoting Operation Galvanise.”
