IT was an emotional day for staff at Little Badgers pre-school in Headley as they waved goodbye to children at the end of term party.
Youngsters who have been with the pre-school for three years were among those leaving last Friday, and they enjoyed a day of party games and food.

Little Badgers' Trudy Connolly said the pre-school leavers were off to a number of different schools, including Binsted Primary School and Liphook Infant School.

She said: "We did traditional party games and the parents came in to watch.

"Some of these children have been here since they were about two and a half and the day was a mixture of happiness and sadness because they were leaving."

The pre-school, whch is based at the Mill Lane pavilion, is back up and running next September and places are available.
