Around 70 volunteers from GE Energy in Alton displayed their green fingers by carrying out a gardening project at Mill Chase Community Technology College in Bordon.
They spent the day revamping the outside of the college's science block; producing a bog garden, making and putting up nesting boxes and making hideaways for animals such as hedgehogs.

Another area of the site the volunteers worked hard on was the memorial garden.

They cleaned out the pond and replanted shrubs in the area and put up trellis work for climbing plants, to produce an overall improved look for people to relax in and enjoy.

Mill Chase students were involved in much of the work and also helped Weyford Infant School in replanting the site at the front of the infant school.
