Sprinting, skipping, long distance, javelin and relay races formed part of St Matthew's School, Blackmoor's sports day last week by the Early Years Base class.
Afterwards, parents, visitors and children picnicked on the school field, before the Masters and Apprentices Base class held its sports competition during the afternoon.
Debbie Still, administrative assistant at the school, said: "We were very lucky with the weather and everyone enjoyed the day, with St Andrew's House (Blue House) coming out as overall winners of the school's Sports Club for 2009."
