Club welcomes new chairman

PETERSFIELD LIONS CLUB: Petersfield Lions Club president Lin Piatek has passed the chain of office to incoming chairman John Sheeley.
Lin thanked the club members for their work during the last 12 months and noted that more than £6,000 had been raised during her year of office for mostly local charities.

New president John Sheeley pledged continuing support for Petersfield-based organisations including Outings for the Housebound, Butser Homestart and Holidays for the Disabled.

International causes would include the collection and despatch of used spectacles for India and Africa.
