PHOENIX STITCHERS: Phoenix Stitchers held their AGM at Petersfield Community Centre.
Retiring Committee members Nancy Woodman, Diddy Young and Frances Roche were very warmly thanked for all their hard work in making the Group such a success.
Julia Little, a local textile artist and expert felt maker, then demonstrated felt making and showed members some of the lovely things she had created using this versatile material.
The next Phoenix Stitchers meeting will be on November 17 at 2pm in Petersfield Community Centre, when Eileen O' Grady will give a talk on 'Passementerie.'
