September saw the dawn of another exciting year for the Ludshott Photographic Club.
The first meeting at the beginning of the month saw a welcome return to Len Deeley of Godalming who gave a series of audio visual presentations on ‘Underwater Photography.’

Len is one of the finest underwater photographers in the country and the quality of his pictures thoroughly exercised that point. The second meeting, held at the Grayshott Church rooms saw the first print competition of the season.

The judge was Andrew Perry from Chichester Camera Club, and he livened the evening up with some of his comments and gave opinions on the submissions as he saw them.

What was good for the evening was the members who were awarded the maximum 10 points for the first time.

The photographers who gained the maximum were: Beginners Class – Ruth Greenfield, Brian Thomas and Peter Davies; Intermediate Class – Carol Sheppard and Gordon Rae; advanced section – Kathleen Bird, Diana Thair, David Barratt and Jim Henson.
