PETERSFIELD ARTS AND CRAFTS SOCIETY: Members of Petersfield Arts and Crafts Society manned the stalls of the open air exhibition in Rams Walk hoping for just a little less air.
As the wind whipped down the shopping mall folk grappled with tablecloths and screens of paintings, the scarves flapped and easels nearly flew.

However, the sun shone intermittently and shoppers were happy to browse and talk, even pick up bits and pieces as they flew away.

The society offered a diverse range of skills. Paintings in all media, silk scarves, woodwork, jewellery and pottery were all available.

Sharon Hurst was demonstrating watercolours working on a Gothic Fantasy, and when the models for the painting arrived, it caused quite a stir as people stopped to look and take photos.

Vice chairman Jo Berryman said the day was a great success.
