PETERSFIELD TOWN JUNIORS FOOTBALL CLUB: Petersfield Town Juniors held it 32nd AGM on July 11.
Chairman Ian Essai summarised the year as a very rewarding and fruitful one. The club has a very strong financial platform thanks to a number of local companies and parents who have contributed in terms of sponsorship and donations.

The club con
tinues in its popularity with a growth in the number of teams (now 23), taking the number of players to around 355.

The recent affiliation with Petersfield Town FC has seen the Youth team move from the junior club to the senior club, creating the career line for young footballers to progress through the senior club.

The chairman paid tribute to the six-a-side committee who pulled off one of the best organised events in recent history, thanking Clare Essai who has played the role of tournament secretary for the past three years and is now stepping down.

Steve Wyatt was applauded for his contribution on the executive committee in a number of roles. He stepped down after six years of service.

Nigel and Karen Carande received an 'Outstanding Achievement Award' for their contribution to the club over the past five years.

Ian Reed, Steve Wyatt and Di Gardner were awarded honorary vice presidents positions for their continued support and contribution to the club.

The following officers were re-elected for another term: Ian Essai, continues as chairman for a sixth year; Ian Reed, begins a seventh season as community liaison officer; Mandy Bateman continues in her fourth year as team representative and Sue Coombes for a third term.
