Birdworld near Farnham will host a talk entitled 'Introducing the Great Bustards of Salisbury Plain' on Wednesday, July 15, 7pm-9pm (talk at 8pm).
It will give people the opportunity to enjoy the park surroundings at a more peaceful time, then sit back with a glass of wine while the Great Bustard Group provides an informative talk about the reintroduction of this endangered species that was very much part of British wildlife before being hunted out of existence in Britain by the 1840s.
Children are welcome but must be supervised. Tickets cost £5 and must be booked in advance on 01420 22140.
