Young actors in Liss got some expert advice when they decided to write some of their own scripts.
They called in Spenser Freerson, who has written episodes of EastEnders, for some tips.

And with his help they created their own sketches which were performed in front of an enthusiastic audience of parents and friends at Liss village hall on Saturday.

A total of 50 members of the ACTion drama group took part.

The group has been running for more than five years, and earlier this year relocated from Liss United Reformed Church hall to the village hall.

"It's a better location because the hall has a proper stage so that the children can learn the basics of stagecraft," said Katie Solley, who runs ACTion Drama.

She will be starting up a group in at the United Reformed Church hall in College Street, Petersfield, in September.

There will be session for different age groups starting with the youngest at 4.30pm on Wednesdays.

More details from Katie on 01730 302336 or 07809 765636.
