Car burst into flames while still in garage

A FORD Fiesta parked in a garage in Petersfield caught fire and burst into flames in the early hours of Thursday, January 21.
The car was parked in Dolphin Court, off St Peter's Road, when a fault in the vehicle ignited the blaze at about 2.15am.

Ten firefighters from Petersfield Fire Station were called in to tackle the fire, which they brought under control and extinguished by about 3.35am.

Hampshire Police confirmed the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
