Six students from Churcher's College are to undertake two weeks of work experience in Germany this summer.
The sixth form students, studying German at A level, will travel to Petersfield's twin town of Warendorf to immerse themselves in the local culture and to gain valuable experience in a working environment.

Seventeen-year-old Alex Butler, who hopes to work in Warendorf's local district council offices, said: "It will be fun, informative and, above all, a fantastic experience. This is something that very few people get the opportunity to do." The trip has been made possible largely due to the close ties between Churcher's and Warendorf's school, Mariengymnasium.

Ian Crossman, head of German, said: "To have six students all going at the same time is quite remarkable."
