GIRL Guides from Sheet celebrated the 100-year anniversary of Guiding - by taking to the snowy slopes in a sledge.
Eighteen girls from the 2nd Sheet Guides braved the cold weather at the Borough Road play area, racing down the slopes on sledges and animal feed sacks.
The girls are taking part in the 'Challenge 100' and are hoping to earn a special badge to commemorate the centenary year by competing in various activities.
The girls also turned their hands to ice sculpting - building a dragon, ice chairs and a 3-D snowflake.
