VISITORS to the Rotherlands Nature Reserve in Petersfield are once again witnessing the benefits of volunteer work that has seen extensive improvements to its footpaths.
Fifteen volunteers from the Rotherlands Conservation Group have been hard at work laying gravel over muddy paths as part of a drive to improve the reserve's environment.

Their efforts have been supported by the national charity CSV Action Earth, in partnership with the supermarket chain Morrisons, which involves 900 organisations and businesses throughout the UK in conservation and community-based work.

CSV is keen to engage people across the country in volunteer projects as a way to give something back to local areas, and the improvments at Rotherlands are an example of what can be achieved.

The Rotherlands Conservation Group is always on the lookout for new volunteers, and more information on joining the project can be found at: www.rotherlands.co.uk
