The Petersfield School, Churcher's College, Sheet Primary, Buriton Primary and eight other local schools will all be taking part in the Festival for Young People.
An exhibition of art, crafts and ideas by pupils, as well as contributions from members of Age Concern, Froxfield Over 60s Club, Model Makers, The Phoenix Stitchers and The Junior Embroiderers, will be held at the Festival Hall in Petersfield on Friday from 10am-8pm and on Sat-urday from 10am-3pm.

Organiser Nigel Wells said: "The Festival for Young People is an organisation whose aim is to connect the generations by working with the young and showing off their talents and achievements.

""The exhibition will show off the talents of our youngsters to a much wider audience and, by so doing, we hope to generate a better understanding and respect between the generations."

The exhibition will be officially opened on Friday morning at 10am by the Mayor, Vaughan Clarke.
