SUNSHINE helped bring the crowds out to enjoy Petersfield Infant School's summer fair.
Entertainment was provided by the pupils themselves, with Year 2 children performing a maypole dance, children in Year 1 putting on a country dancing show and the reception children all singing.
The school recorder club gave visitors a taste of its music, and popular stalls included the 'sponge a teacher' stand, 'hook the duck' and the coconut shy.
Deputy headteacher Ruth Kenny said the fair was organised by the Petersfield Infant School Association and it raised £2,675.
She added: "The money will be used on the coaches for the school trips to Portsmouth Dockyard, Manor Farm and Marwell Zoo, and for buying sensory equipment for the woods and playground."
