A YOUTH group in Petersfield is holding a sponsored family walk to raise money for a proposed enlarged skate park in the town.
The Festival for Young People will be hosting a ten-mile walk through the South Downs.

Plans for the park, based at Love Lane have been submitted and a decision will be reached by the end of May.

The walk, to be held on Sunday May 18, will begin at the top of Cocking Hill. A shorter route is available.

Walkers will be asked to contribute £10 towards the park. For more information contact organisers on 01730 266074.
