Still plenty of fun at Taro Fair

The traditional Taro fair brightened the autumnal gloom in Petersfield – but only for a day.
For the first time in many years, the event was held on the Heath for just one day instead of two.

The Wall family, who run the fair, took the decision because of the current economic climate – but say they hope to revert to two days again next year.

Meanwhile, hundreds of funseekers of all ages descended on the Heath on Monday afternoon and evening to try out the rides and sideshows.

As you can see from the pictures sent in by Post readers, it was a colourful affair with plenty of rides to enjoy.
