HASLEMERE Bookshop has just announced an exciting opportunity for aspiring writers. 

Award-winning author Emma Brankin, whose new short story collection Attention Seekers was written in Haslemere, will read submitted manuscripts and provide personalised, in-depth comments. 

If you fancy getting your work read, pick up a copy of Attention Seekers from The Haslemere Bookshop this month. The offer closes on Thursday, November 30.  

After buying a copy, contact Emma at [email protected], emailing her with proof of purchase from The Haslemere Bookshop. 

Ensure the work submitted is no more than 5,000 words. The feedback will be provided within six weeks of Emma receiving the email and will be two pages of feedback.

The insights and edits suggested to help shape the manuscripts will be solely Emma’s opinion.
