Crossways Counselling will host a free open evening at Haslemere Museum next Thursday (May 18) with guest talks on tackling mental health, poverty and anxiety.
It takes place from 7pm, featuring talks by Haslemere GP Dr Phil Ridsdill Smith on mental health, south east region leader for Christians Against Poverty, Alison Berry, and Stacey Medalyer and Sophie Bice from Anxiety in Teenagers.
Crossways Counselling is a Haslemere-based registered charity that has been offering professional low cost counselling in the local community for 23 years.
During the evening the charity will also update guests on plans to expand to offer couples counselling and counselling for young people aged 11-18 as well as its collaboration with St Bartholomew’s Church for a permanent purpose-built base in the town centre.
