EAST Hampshire’s MP was given food for thought when he attended a business breakfast at the Half Moon in Sheet.

The Rt Hon Damian Hinds was the special guest when the Business Growth Network held its weekly get-together.

The Minister of State for Prisons and Probation answered questions about inflation, business rates, petrol prices and apprenticeships during the hour-long meeting and encour-aged members to take on ex-prisoners as employees.

He said: “They are very grateful for the opportunity and as a result you get a loyal employee who stays a bit longer.”
