Fire at Bedales
There was a small and contained fire within a dust extraction system in the Bedales School design workshop overnight Tues/Wed March 12/13. Fire Brigade came swiftly and extinguished the fire. No-one was in the building and damage is minimal and confined to a small corner of the building. No student work has been damaged.
FIRE crews were called to help tackle a blaze at Bedales School in Steep.
A fire broke out in the woodwork shop at the Bedales School, in Church Street, Petersfield, just before 10.30pm last night (Tuesday, March 12).
Crews attended from Petersfield, Horndean, Liphook, Bordon, Cosham, and Havant.
The fire was out around an hour later. Firefighters used eight breathing apparatus, eight hose reels and two jets to put out the blaze.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is unknown and officers are investigating.
