A PEDESTRIAN who died following a late-night collision close to Petersfield train station last month has been named by Hampshire Police.
James Langlands came into contact with a red Audi A1 on Winchester Road just before 11pm on Friday, February 16.
The 43-year-old from Horsham died after being taken to hospital, with his family paying tribute to the “kind, generous, funny and unassuming” man in a statement released on Monday.
“He worked hard and was greatly liked and valued by the large insurance company he worked for in London,” said his family.
“He treasured his long friendship with old school pals and football team members. He was greatly loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.”
