Resurrection Furniture has donated £1,000 to the Pink Place Alton.

This will cover the cost of its room rental at the Alton Maltings Centre for a year, ensuring it can continue to offer help and support people in the town undergoing treatment for cancer.

Resurrection Furniture is a charity shop which is part of the Parish of the Resurrection Alton.

It specialises in a second-hand furniture, household items and bric-a-brac.

Profits made from selling used furniture and other items are used to support many charities and good causes in and around Alton.

One of the charities it supports is the Pink Place Alton.

The Pink Place Alton offers wellbeing services, information, counselling, support and social events for women and men affected by cancer. This includes a wide range of complementary therapies and classes.
