Petersfield Town continued their build up to the new season with a 2-1 defeat against Gosport Borough in their latest pre-season friendly.
Gosport brought a strong line-up to Love Lane, with their squad including seven first team regulars.

But Town put in a strong performance in what was a cracking match of flowing football.

Manager Paul Ryan has another four matches in pre-season to mould together his starting XI before the Wessex League season kicks-off on August 9.

The reserves and first team take on Lock Heath at Love Lane this Saturday (July 26) in a double header starting at 12.30pm.

Town then travel to Moneyfields on July 29 (6.30pm), away to Four Marks on August 2 and then play Horndean in the Hana Cup at Five Heads Park on August 5.
