LISS lost to Bramshaw by three wickets on an overcast and gloomy day.
They were put in and Richard Pleace and Chris Martin got off to a fast start with nine runs off the first over.
Pleace was the first to fall, playing on for 31. Liss lost S
herborne with only three more added after he went back and was bowled middle and off. Cover joined Martin and the partnership was looking promising until Martin got a ball off the toe of the bat and was caught at mid-wicket. Liss were reduced to 57-3 at this point.
Munt joined Cover and the pair looked comfortable until Kingston added pace to the Bramshaw attack and had Cover beaten for a fine 35.
James came down the track and was stumped for seven, but Munt continued to bat well and pushed the total along with Lee before Lee was caught for 15.
Munt was then caught just short of the boundary for a great 47. Janczur (15) and Johns (7) added a few but Liss ran out of overs and finished on 187-9.
Liss once again got off to a great start with the ball, Anriban Baul picking up the first wicket in the third over. Bramshaw lost their second wicket after a direct hit from Owen Murphy saw Spry run out with the score on 17. Hart continued to bat well but his partners were struggling to cope with Janczur’s pace and were frequently getting hit trying to duck out of his firing line. Marshall was next to fall playing on for six. Gray then joined Hart and the pair added a valuable partnership of 51 before Hart finally fell with the faintest of edges, with a great catch behind the stumps from Martin, reaching a great 56.
A dropped catch made Bramshaw favourites. B Hart continued where his son left off and a further partnership of 42 was added before Gray was trapped lbw for 33. Murray then helped to add 49 before Hart was run out for 32 with the score on 183. Eckton finished the game off.
