Hampshire Women's Division (at Yateley) -
Yateley 148-6, Pink Maidens 95-6: Pink Maidens fielded first and began well by taking a wicket in the first over from a good ball by Kate Hughes.
Despite only fielding eight players they managed to keep the runs down for a while but C Micklethwaite and S Dowell took the score to 49 before the next wicket fell – a fine catch by Lauren Staveley off the bowling of Barbara Harris.

The runs began to creep up and wicketkeeper Aimee Budd took a casual catch off the bowling of Staveley and Yateley finished their innings on 148.

Opening bats Mary Edwards and Mollie Eccott started confidently but the bowling of Knighton proved too much for Eccott (5).

Edwards (14) took a blow to the head and had to retire hurt.

Budd and Hughes managed to put on some runs and Staveley was caught leg before from a very good ball by A Micklethwaite.

Nikki Wadey was bowled by a good paced ball before getting off the mark and Barbara Harris scored a valiant nine before being bowled.
