It was a perfect day for a beer and music festival in East Meon on Saturday – and visitors lapped it up.
The fun kicked off at 6pm on the recreation ground, following the very satisfying day of cricket played by the East Meon Cricket Club Sixes Invitational, a six-a-side cricket tournament (results and report on sports page 48).
The festival went on well into the night, with people enjoying award- winning local beers, burgers and sausages, as well as enjoying a wide range of good music, making it a perfect finale to a great event in the village.
All proceeds raised from the event will go towards the cricket club's new pavilion.
