AN EXHIBITION of paintings inspired by the landscapes encountered by an artist on a walk to London will open this Thursday at Petersfield Physic Garden.

The three-day “Walking to London” exhibition features some of Sue Webber’s favourite moments with locations near Liss, Liphook, Haslemere and Rowlands Castle captured on canvas.

She said: “I wondered what it would be like to travel slowly through the landscape that flashes by in the train window.”
