POLICE are appealing for information following a ram-raid incident in Bordon.

Just after 2.20am on Sunday, January 28 offenders used a telehandler tractor to smash part of a wall of the Spar shop at Elmfield Court in Lindford.

The telehandler was then used to pull the ATM cash machine out of the wall.

The ATM was then driven off on the back of a dark-coloured pick-up vehicle.

The telehandler, which had been stolen earlier that night from Churt Road, Headley, was left at the scene.

Detective Constable Jo Martindale said: “We’d like to speak to anyone who has any information about the ram raid incident or the theft of the telehandler.

"Did you see or hear anything suspicious in the areas at the time of the incidents? Do you know anyone you think may have been involved? I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information should contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101 quoting 44180036125.
