POLICE are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Liss at the weekend.

Just after 8.30am on Sunday, a collision occurred between a cyclist and a pick-up truck on the Farnham Road roundabout near the southbound A3 slip road for Liss.

The driver of the pick-up truck failed to stop and left the scene via Farnham Road towards Liss.

The vehicle is described as a silver/grey Mitsubishi pick-up truck style vehicle with a black wavey stripe down the side.

The cyclist suffered broken ribs and a possible fractured cheek in the incident.

PC Robin Tompkins said: “At the time of the incident there was a cycling event being held and I am keen to speak to anyone who either witnessed the collision or has any dashcam or video recordings of a similar vehicle in the area around the time of the incident.

“The rider of the bicycle has suffered significant injuries. I would urge the driver of the vehicle, or anyone who knows them, to contact us urgently so we can establish the full facts of the incident.”
