HAMPSHIRE Police are investigating the theft of a digger from Liss in the early hours of Monday December 18.

Some time between midnight and 7am, thieves broke into a building site at Bluebell Inn, in Farnham Road, and stole a new, 2017 model Avant 635 digger, worth around £25,000.

A police spokesman said: "We’d like to hear from anyone who has been offered a digger for sale or has any other information that could help our investigation."
