POLICE are urging people not to drive under the influence of drink or drugs.

Officers from Hampshire Constabulary and Thames Valley Police’s Joint Operations Unit are encouraging drivers not to drink alcohol or take drugs before getting behind the wheel.

The public are also being encouraged to report drink and drug drivers with as much information and detail as possible.

Hampshire Constabulary road safety sergeant Scott Kerr said: “If you know someone who drink or drug drives, you can help by reporting them on 101, or calling 999 if they are driving or immediately about to drive under the influence.”
