THE DRIVER of a Porsche escaped unhurt when their car hit a tree on February 27.

The crash occurred on Old London Road – the Rake to Liphook dual carriageway – and the vehicle was travelling from Rake to Liphook.

A spokesman for the Sussex Roads Policing Unit said: “Amazingly the driver of this Porsche walked away uninjured after they lost control and crashed into a tree.

“The vehicle’s engine was ejected and landed about 50 metres away.”

The crash remains under investigation by the Sussex Roads Policing Unit.
