Two Bright Spaces have been opened in the newly refurbished victim and witness interview suites at Hampshire Constabulary’s support and training headquarters in Netley.

Assistant Chief Constable Ben Snuggs and Bright Horizons operations director Jackie Kendall performed the opening ceremony.

Bright Horizons volunteers transformed a suite of rooms to create homely and welcoming environments with comfortable seating, soft furnishings, art and craft supplies, games, relaxation toys and books.

The aim is to help children and vulnerable adults to feel at ease and relax so they are more confident about giving evidence for court cases.
