POLICE are appealing for information after a vehicle was stolen in Sheet.
The theft happened around midnight in Village Street on Wednesday, May 24.
Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Kathryn Morning said: “If you have seen anything suspicious during this time please call police on 101 and quote crime reference number 44170194630.”
Police are also urging residents to be vigilant, and to make sure they lock their cars overnight.
PCSO Morning said: “Don’t leave your vehicle in a visible place when not in use, and when vehicles or plant equipment are kept outside they should be locked and the keys secured in your possession or in a locked key safe.
“Consider the use of hitch locks, wheel clamps or ground anchors, you may require a combination of the above to meet insurance requirements.”
Owners should also consider uniquely marking, photographing and recording details, including serial, chassis and model numbers.
PCSO Morning added: “Consider fitting a tracking device or a data tagging chip, insurance companies can provide advice on suitable products.”
