THE?POLICE share of council tax looks set to be increased by 1.99 per cent, which is an extra £3.13 a year for the owner of a Band D house.

The Police and Crimne Panel has backed the increase, proposed by Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Simon Hayes.
