PARKED cars at Stroud near Petersfield have been repeatedly attacked and a nearby car showroom had its window smashed by catapulted ball bearings or stones.
After the latest attacks last Thursday, police are studying security camera tapes of the incident at the White Rose showroom in Winchester Road.
Petersfield Police Sergeant Philip Shore said: “A small number of vehicles have been damaged and in the most recent incident, the car showroom window at White Rose was damaged.
“Officers believe that stones or similar objects such as ball bearings may have been used along with some sort of catapult.”

Sarah Grant lives alongside Winchester Road and she and her neighbours have to park their cars in the layby across the road.
The mother-of-two said: “I am really angry about this. I can’t afford to keep repairing my car windows.
“I had real problems trying to take my daughter to school the other day because of the damage. I was crying in the end.
“The police have promised to keep an eye on the area and I’m hoping the garage security camera will show who it was.”
