An 18-year-old man from Bordon has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and robbery following a serious incident in the town this afternoon.

Police were called to the Chalet Hill area around 12.42pm by South Central Ambulance following reports that an 18-year-old man had suffered a leg injury during an assault.

Hampshire Police have not confirmed the nature of the assault and whether a knife was involved, but have stated that a man is currently in custody and investigations are continuing.

“Enquiries are ongoing in the area and anyone with any concerns can speak to an officer,” said a spokesperson for Hampshire Police, with witnesses or anyone with information urged to call 101.
