A DUMPER truck has been stolen from the side of the busiest road in East Hampshire.

The vehicle was stolen from the lay-by on the southbound A3 between the Buriton and Queen Elizabeth Country Park exits sometime over the weekend of January 25–26.

Hampshire police are hopeful someone witnessed the theft as tens of thousands of motorists use the road every day.

The truck was used by engineers repairing the Buriton to Queen Elizabeth Country Park cycleway.

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact 101 quoting crime reference number 44200032702 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
