Woman cut from car in Harting collision

AN elderly woman was cut from her vehicle after suffering minor injuries in a head on collision at South Harting today (Friday).

Two appliances, from Petersfield and Havant, and a heavy rescue tender from Chichester, were called to the B2141 at Harting Hill, near the junction with Hill Lane, at 8.16am.

Two vehicles were involved in the incident, with a man who sustained minor injuries driving one, and a woman with two children, who were unharmed, the other.

The road was closed to traffic until 11.20am. A spillage of oil had to be cleared.
