HEADLEY Parish Council is looking for a community-minded villager to join their thriving team of 12.

Whoever becomes their latest parish councillor will be expected to attend at least one meeting a month on a Monday evening and will have a strong interest in local issues.

It’s a very rewarding role as the council has the ability to influence other organisations and oversees many of the parish’s most treasured landmarks, like village greens, play areas and allotments.

Interested villagers should email Parish Clerk Val Prichard at [email protected] by March 27.

The winning candidate will be confirmed at their April full council meeting.
