A DROP in oil prices has come at just the right time ahead of Christmas for the 21,000 oil-heated homes in Hampshire, including those in Petersfield and East Hampshire. The cost of heating a three-bedroomed house is now just under £800 year compared to just over £1,000 for urban counterparts connected to mains gas, says the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers.
